The Postal Service is now the official shipping sponsor of the National Hockey League.
Under the sponsorship agreement, hockey game attendees will be able to interact with USPS at events such as the NHL Winter Classic and NHL Stadium Series through on-site activities.
“The NHL epitomizes the competitive spirit and embodies the characteristics of teamwork, endurance, determination and the relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Sheila Holman, the Postal Service’s vice president of marketing. “Every day, our organization brings these traits into our daily service to the American public, and so we are pleased to bring our brands together for what promises to be a fun and entertaining collaboration.”
The Postal Service will have a skill activation and photo booth at the 2026 NHL Stadium Series in Tampa, FL, on Feb. 1, where pregame attendees can get their photo on a postcard they can mail from the exhibit.
As part of the agreement, USPS also gets exclusive rights connecting its brand with the NHL and its fans through the league’s marketing, digital and social media channels. The two organizations will also collaborate on original content and storytelling across their respective platforms.
“USPS is one of the most iconic American institutions and brands, with a tremendously vibrant 250-year heritage, and we are proud to welcome USPS to the NHL family,” said Jason Jazayeri, the league’s vice president for business development.
