US Postal Service honors slain Rockford mailman with procession

Residents watch a procession of U.S. Postal Service vehicles Tuesday, April 2, 2024, on Winnetka Avenue, in Rockford, as it travels mail carrier Jay Larson’s route. Larson was killed Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in a mass stabbing in the neighborhood.
