Postal worker, former college football player dies in metro Atlanta

ATLANTA — A metro Atlanta postal worker and former college football player died over the weekend, the USPS and his alma mater confirmed.

USPS said Friday that it was “deeply saddened by the tragic loss of a postal family member.” Arnold Walker worked at the Wesley Chapel Post Office.

He was a school Hall of Famer at Alcorn State in Mississippi, and a local graduate here of McNair High.
