Postal Unions Send Joint Letter to Congress on Postal Stabilization

On May 1, the four postal unions–the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA), American Postal Workers Union (APWU), National Postal Mail Handlers Union (NPMHU), and the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC)–sent a joint letter to Congress outlining our combined asks to be included in any forthcoming postal stabilization proposal.

The letter identifies increasing USPS’ borrowing authority, providing flexibility in USPS’ investments, and ending the current unfair CSRS liability allocation as key pillars in any package.
