Postal Employee presents First Responder stamp plaques to Firefighters of the year

Have you ever thought to yourself why firefighters are so important to our community?  Firefighters are important because they save lives; would be the first thing that comes to most of our minds, that’s not the whole answer though, in fact, there are several reasons why being a Firefighter is a highly skilled profession that makes huge contributions to the community it serves. 

Edwin Vivas, Customer Relations Coordinator for the United States Postal Service for all of Broward County as well as the Postal Administrator for the Postal Customer Council of Broward County, recognized Tamarac, Driver Engineer, Mr. Hudanich and North Lauderdale Firefighter, Mr. Gomez, for Firefighters of the Year 2024.

Mr. Vivas presented both individuals with the “Honoring First Responders Forever Stamp.” during the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber monthly meeting.
