Plains post office renamed after Jimmy, Rosalynn Carter

PLAINS, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The post office in the small south Georgia hometown of the nation’s 39th president will now bear his name and the name of his life and political partner.

The Plains Post Office at 119 Main Street will now be designated as the “Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Post Office.”
