NALC – 163 Installations added to all-career model

The Postal Service is required to convert all city carrier assistants in the identified installations to part-time flexible career status as soon as practicable, but no later than the first day of the second full pay period following the date of the respective agreement.

The U.S. Postal Service is required to provide universal service to every person in the United States. Most of Alaska’s communities are not connected due to its vast geography and lack of surface highway and road infrastructure.

USPS OIG – COVID-19 Test Kit Distribution

Our objective was to assess the accounting treatment and selected technology support associated with the distribution of the COVID-19 test kits to the public. To accomplish our objective, we reviewed accounting treatment and reporting of costs and the development of the online test kit website.

USPS OIG – Timecard Administration Follow-Up

Our objective in this follow-up audit was to evaluate whether corrective actions the Postal Service took in response to recommendations in our December 2020 Timecard Administration report sufficiently addressed the issues identified.
