WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Christmas rush is heating up, and postal workers are hard at work making sure gifts arrive in time for the big day.

2026 Pay dates and Leave year

The leave year always begins the first day of the first full pay period in the calendar year. The 2026 leave year begins January 10, 2026 (Pay Period 03-2026), extends for 26 full pay periods, and ends January 8, 2027 (Pay Period 01-2027).
