The Postal Service has recently added new features to its USPS Informed Delivery Mobile app.
Informed Delivery is a free feature that allows customers to preview their incoming letter-size mail and manage their package deliveries. In addition to the app, customers can access Informed Delivery notifications from their email and on informeddelivery.usps.com.
The app’s new features include:
• An option for notifications about mail delivery, package updates and other messages to appear on a customer’s mobile device;
• Package management, including seeing USPS Smart Locker packages, editing delivery instructions and redelivery scheduling;
• Ability to update Informed Delivery settings and preferences;
• An option to switch between addresses and accounts; and
• A dark-viewing mode.
The app was released in 2025 and is available in the Apple and Google Play stores.
