Here’s what USPS has in store in ’24

The Postal Service has a lot planned in 2024.

Here’s what’s on tap:

New stamps. USPS has announced plans for almost 30 stamp releases, beginning with this year’s Love stamp, which will debut Friday, Jan. 12.

Community activities. The Combined Federal Campaign will conclude Monday, Jan. 15, while the Stamp Out Hunger food drive will take place Saturday, May 11.

Price changes. On Sunday, Jan. 21, USPS will raise prices approximately 2 percent for mailing services, 5.7 percent for Priority Mail, 5.9 percent for Priority Mail Express and 5.4 percent for USPS Ground Advantage.

Industry meetings. The National Postal Forum will be held from Sunday, June 2, through Wednesday, June 5, in Indianapolis. National Postal Customer Council Week will begin Monday, Sept. 23.

Of course, it won’t be all work all the time.

USPS will observe the remaining federal holidays in 2024: Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. (Monday, Jan. 15), Washington’s Birthday (Monday, Feb. 19), Memorial Day (Monday, May 27), Juneteenth National Independence Day (Wednesday, June 19), Independence Day (Thursday, July 4), Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2), Columbus Day (Monday, Oct. 14), Veterans Day (Monday, Nov. 11), Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 28) and Christmas Day (Wednesday, Dec. 25).
