Cincinnati man sentenced after pleading guilty to robbing postal carrier

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio —A Cincinnati man who pleaded guilty in connection with an armed robbery of a United States Postal Service letter carrier was sentenced to prison on Wednesday.

Lamarion Gray, 19, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery of US property in March.

The incident happened last July, when inspection service officials said a postal service letter carrier was robbed at gunpoint on Cliffside Drive in Northbrook.

A homeowner called 911, letting the scared mail carrier into his home as they waited for police to arrive.

According to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, investigators recovered a large amount of stolen mail at Gray’s residence after executing a search warrant at his residence.
