Bloomfield Postal Service employee facing preliminary felony misconduct, theft charges

Bloomfield Post Office employee Winston Williams, 27, is facing preliminary charges of Level 6 felony official misconduct and Class A misdemeanor theft after Special Agent (SA) Brian Clancy with the US Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPSOIG) filed a probable cause affidavit in Greene County Superior Court January 22.

Clancy reports being contacted on or about December 24, 2024 by a postal inspector from the Indianapolis United States Postal Inspection Service, who informed SA Clancy about possible illegal activity by a postal employee at the Bloomfield Police Office.
