Beloved Huntsville mailman honored with mail truck procession

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.  – The Huntsville community had a unique way to say goodbye to a beloved, longtime mailman this weekend.

On Saturday, there was a procession of mail trucks leaving the Laughlin Funeral Home.

More than 30 mail trucks were in the procession to honor Glenn Thomas.

Thomas spent 50 years with the United States Postal Service and was a leader in the local letter carriers’ union as well
