NALC’s Shut Down Hunger effort donates more than $525,000 to food banks nationwide

In November, NALC organized a Shut Down Hunger campaign. The initiative called on branches to make monetary donations to local food banks during the longest government shutdown in history. NALC committed to matching all donations that were submitted by Jan. 31, 2026.

Postal Worker Drives 52 Miles After Work to Return Lost Wallet Found in -11F° Weather

25-year-old Bruce Armah, a new member of the mail team, found a wallet half-buried in snow in Coraopolis new Pittsburgh. He tucked it away in his car and continued on his route, but not because he meant to steal anything.
