APWU Honors Women’s History Month

The APWU honors the contributions of American women in shaping our nation in March, during Women’s History Month. “Women’s contributions to organized labor have proven pivotal in advancing social justice.”  said APWU President Mark Dimondstein. “We recognize the significant impact made by women in the APWU, and encourage all female union members to get involved.”

The APWU National Executive Board met February 5-6 and adopted a proclamation to honor the women of the APWU throughout March, Women’s History Month, recognizing the “unique and powerful role” women have played in the APWU and in society.
