Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Anita D. Miller, 42, of Jamestown, NY, who was convicted of theft of mail by a postal employee and delay of mail by a postal employee, was sentenced to serve three years’ probation and 100 community service by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Man sentenced to 15 days in jail for trespassing at Norfolk post office
Michael Phillip Jones, 39, was convicted of misdemeanor trespassing on Dec. 18 and sentenced to 15 days in jail for his actions at the main Norfolk post office on Church Street. During a May 27, 2025 incident, he followed and harassed postal employees after entering a secured area clearly marked with “No Trespassing” signs.
Anchorage woman indicted, arrested for wire, bank fraud scheme involving mail theft and aggravated identity theft
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – An Anchorage woman was arrested Wednesday in Anchorage after a federal grand jury in Alaska returned an indictment last month alleging she executed a wire and bank fraud scheme where she stole victims’ personal identifying information to use in fraudulently obtaining funds from several Alaskan organizations and financial institutions.
