Silverton Postmaster DeAna Scott retires from USPS

Our local Silverton Postmaster, DeAna Scott, has retired from the United States Postal Service after 20.5 years, with 4 of them driving over Red Mountain Pass 6 days a week.

She spent the initial 16 years of her service to the USPS at the Ouray Post Office and then was given the Silverton Post Office assignment in October of 2020 during the height of the pandemic.
