Sen. Grassley: ‘something’s just not right’ with USPS service in Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Where is the mail? That’s the question people across Iowa are asking and have been asking.

As TV9 first reported last month, people throughout the state are missing their mail, and they say they haven’t heard clear answers on why it’s missing, where it’s gone, and when it might finally show up.

Wednesday, TV9 spoke with Senator Chuck Grassley (R) who has heard from 36 constituents about this problem since the beginning of the year.

“Something’s just not right,” said Grassley.

Many of the people who are reporting missing mail have Informed Delivery, a system that emails them previews of what they can expect to see in their mailbox. They say the pieces of mail they’re told are on the way never show up.
