Woman sues U.S. Post Office for injuries in parking lot

A Missouri woman has sued the U.S. Postal Service after she sustained injuries in the parking lot of a Jackson County location.

In her federal complaint, Glenna Ann Brooks says she sustained personal injuries at the Grain Valley post office on February 22, 2022.

According to the complaint, Brooks parked her vehicle in a designated area near the post office and while exiting her vehicle, half of her left foot rested on an elevated concrete curb while the other half went down on the ground adjacent to the curb. This caused her to lose balance and fall to the ground.
