SEATTLE, WASHINGTON — A simple trip to the post office turned chaotic when a Washington man had a full-blown meltdown inside a local branch, blocking customers in line and refusing to leave until he got what he wanted. The bizarre encounter was caught on video and quickly went viral, with viewers calling it “boomer panic at its peak.

The clip, shared by TikTok user @tabithaholesha0, shows the older man arguing with a postal employee behind the counter. While it’s unclear what his issue was, witnesses say the man was furious over a service request the staff couldn’t fulfill.

When told his demand couldn’t be met, he planted himself firmly in front of the counter and refused to move aside for other customers. “I’m not letting anybody past me,” he declared, blocking everyone in line.

@tabithaholesha0 I’m so mad that I started recording late but good job to the guy who stood up for the employee but little upset that the employee’s boss took so long to come out. The guy was yelling at the employee over something taking 3 days to process. She didn’t start rasising her voice till maybe 1 or 2 minutes of him yelling and you could tell she was uncomfortable. Everyone there was uncomfortable too! #karen #postoffice #fyp #viral #laceywa ♬ original sound – 🍋👀Spycat👀🍋
