USPS Says Milan Facility Will Remain Regional Sorting Hub

(Milan, IL) — Regional mail and package processing will remain in the Quad Cities for now.

The U.S. Postal Service is announcing their plan to move all but local mail from the Milan facility to Des Moines is on hold again until at least the end of this year.

The plan was initially proposed last April, but put on hold after concern over the strategy that would have cost thousand of jobs nationwide.
