CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A USPS Postal worker was hospitalized after a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in Clarksville, according to the Clarksville Police Department (CPD).

CPD said the crash happened on Friday, Dec. 26 at 5:22 p.m. on Virginia Terrace.

Police said a black Dodge Charger was driving east on Virginia Terrace near Jana Drive when it hit a 54-year-old USPS Postal worker as he was tempting to cross the roadway.

The postal worker was flown to Skyline Hospital where police said his status was stable at the time he was taken, police said.
