USPS mail truck involved in central Laredo crash

A U.S. Postal Service mail truck was involved in a two-vehicle crash, according to Laredo police.

The incident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday by the intersection of North Malinche Avenue and Gustavus Street.

A white Kia car and the USPS vehicle crashed, causing the mail truck to rollover.

Information on injuries was not immediately available.

Authorities had to block off Clark Boulevard and North Malinche going southbound.

The investigation remains open.
