USPS mail thefts and robberies – 01/22/24

Postal worker robberies and other mail thefts are becoming a daily event. These are the ones I found today.

Mail, keys, equipment stolen from post office in Paris
PARIS — A weekend burglary at the Paris Hill post office on Tremont Street resulted in the theft of mail, keys and other equipment.
Two postal workers are victims of robberies in Lewiston
U.S. Postal Service staff using two vehicles on Davis and Main streets in Lewiston were robbed at knifepoint Saturday morning, according to several people. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Lewiston Police Department are investigating.
