USPS is offering TSA PreCheck enrollment

The Postal Service is providing enrollment services at six Atlantic Area Post Offices for the Transportation Security Administration’s TSA PreCheck, the expedited screening program for airport travelers.

The organization is partnering with Telos Identity Management Solutions to offer the service.

The six Post Offices are:

• Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY;

• Newark Sorting and Delivery Center, Newark, NJ;

• Lenox Hill, New York City;

• Providence Main Office Walk-Up, Providence, RI;

• Boston JFK, Boston, MA; and

• Church Street, New York City.

The Postal Service also distributed poster kits to 5,156 Post Offices nationwide for display in lobbies to remind customers to enroll in TSA PreCheck or renew their membership.

These Post Offices were selected based on proximity to Telos locations to make it easier for customers to visit Telos sites to complete enrollment or renewal.

The posters display QR codes directing customers to Telos’s enrollment and renewal website. This pilot is part of the organization’s expansion of government services offerings for revenue. USPS will be paid for each enrollment or renewal that originates from a customer’s use of the QR code.

Postal Service employees can also use this link to enroll in TSA PreCheck or renew their status.

Employees with questions can email the Government Services team.
