USPS employee accused of repeatedly smearing ‘unknown substance’ on North Branford mailbox

NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — An employee of the U.S. Postal Service is facing disorderly conduct and criminal mischief charges for repeatedly smearing an “unknown substance” on a mailbox in North Branford, according to police.

Donna Sufyaan-Conyers was arrested on Dec. 4.

North Branford officers have investigated several similar complains over the last year, according to police. That includes multiple instances at the same residence.

The substance was smeared on mailboxes’ interior and exterior, according to police.
