BEAUMONT, Texas — A United States Postal Service worker was sent to the hospital following a crash Friday morning in Beaumont.
Beaumont police officers responded to the 4400 block of Park Street just before 9:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash between a USPS delivery truck and a sedan.
The USPS delivery vehicle was turning into a driveway when the sedan tried to pass the truck and hit it during the turn, according to preliminary investigation.
The USPS driver was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. The extent of injuries remains unknown.
