U.S. Postal Service carrier robbed at gunpoint in Kent

A United States Postal Service carrier was robbed at gunpoint in Kent on Sept. 23.

According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the incident took place at the Washington Park Apartments at 11020 SE Kent-Kangley Road.

The USPIS said the individual involved in the robbery got away with mail and packages belonging to residents from the apartment building.

The USPIS is asking anyone who saw the incident or has “suffered financial loss due to the stolen mail and packages” to call 1-877-876-2455 (say “Law Enforcement”) and reference Case No. 4388524.
