Those Crazy-Looking Postal Trucks Have Arrived Early In New York

Not only were the older trucks small, but they lacked many modern conveniences, like air conditioning. While the new trucks are certainly anything but pretty, they were an early hit with postal workers who tested them before release (more on that later). Now, they’re in the Hudson Valley.

With the rollout of new vehicles planned through 2028, Hudson Valley residents wouldn’t be blamed for their surprise at already seeing them on local roads. New York’s rural counties might be high on the priority list, however, as evidenced by the truck spotted in Orange County, NY.

There’s no doubt that these trucks won’t be winning any beauty pageants (one postal worker said “you can tell they didn’t have appearance in mind” when designing the truck), it’s what on the inside that counts.

God Almighty. I’ve never heard so much whining in my life over such a trivial issue. If you want something that looks better, pay for it yourself.
