The Pam Rock Act Is Now Law in Florida!

On August 22, 2022, USPS employee Pam Rock was tragically killed in Putnam County after being attacked by five dogs while delivering mail. More recently, on January 13, 2025, 8-year-old Michael Millett was fatally attacked and killed by a dangerous dog while riding his bicycle in his Volusia County neighborhood. In response to these and similar incidents, Florida has passed a new law aimed at holding negligent dog owners accountable and better protecting the public.
