TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Nearly a week after Congressman Neal Dunn announced a USPS audit team was headed to Tallahassee, WCTV has learned the branch does not have a top leader. There is no postmaster currently overseeing operations in Tallahassee, according to USPS officials.
“I’d like us to have a Postmaster in place as soon as possible and I’d like that person to take responsibility,” said Leon County Commissioner Brian Welch. “I’d like that person to try and make a good faith effort to try and solve the problems to the best of their ability.”
WCTV has been looking into USPS leadership changes in the capital city as we report on service issues. A USPS online directory indicates Camille Moscola-Calvo was appointed as postmaster on March 14, 2020. A local USPS official said Moscola-Calvo retired about a month ago.
