Selfridge woman charged for post office fire

SELFRIDGE, N.D. (KFYR) – A Selfridge woman has been federally charged with arson and destruction of government property after FBI agents say she lit the Selfridge Post Office on fire.

Officers say several witnesses told them on September 15 they saw Melody Walker-White Twin throw cement blocks at the post office windows and talk about burning the town down.

Agents say Walker-White Twin told them she threw rocks at the windows and lit envelopes on fire in the entryway of the post office, but she stated she didn’t think anything caught fire.
