Remembering Betty Ford – A new video examines the former first lady’s legacy

The Postal Service has released a video on its new Betty Ford stamp.

The stamp honors the former first lady, who was widely admired for her support of women’s rights and her candor about the serious health challenges she faced.

The four-minute video features comments from Susan Ford Bales, her daughter; Dr. Joseph Lee, president and CEO of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation; and Amber McReynolds, vice chair of the USPS Board Governors, who spoke at last week’s stamp dedication ceremony.
