Protest Is Happening Via US Postal Service—Here’s What To Know

Anti-Trump protesters are planning to flood the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) by sending letters to the White House opposing the president’s policies.

Why It Matters

President Donald Trump‘s policies are sparking fierce backlash from Democrats, who have organized a flurry of nationwide protests to demonstrate their opposition to tariffs, the firings of federal workers and deportations of student protesters.

The protests come as Trump’s approval numbers continue to tumble.

What To Know

One of the latest protests, Operation Mail Storm, is asking participants to join a “peaceful protest” and “postal uprising,” organizer Gina Luker posted on Instagram.

It follows the nationwide “Hands Off!” protests and “Not My President’s Day” rallies across the country in April and February, respectively.
