
CARROLL COUNTY, Va. – Photos from the scene of a crash in Carroll County show mail scattered across a yard after a USPS truck flipped.
Pipers Gap Rescue Squad, Inc. posted on Facebook that their crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Carrollton Pike Tuesday evening.
No serious injuries were reported; troopers tell us the driver of the USPS truck was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The crash is now under investigation; charges are pending.
A Virginia State Police trooper said members of the local post office were called out to the scene to clean up the mail that was thrown out of the truck in the rollover crash.
