Due to the bombing in Nashville on Dec. 25, customers may see impacts to retail operations at some Post Offices for ZIP Codes starting with 307, 370-375, 377-381, 383-385, 400-406, 408, 409, 411-414, 416-418, 420-427, 471, 476 and 477. The affected offices will only be able to conduct certain transactions across the retail counter. The following services will be unavailable:
- No credit/debit transactions — accepting cash or check transactions only.
- No money orders can be purchased or cashed.
- Mail and packages can be accepted but delivery service commitments cannot be provided.
- No Post Office Box renewals or new rentals can be performed at retail locations until further notice.
We regret this inconvenience and are working to restore normal services as soon as possible.
