COLUMBUS, Ohio — It was the year a man first stepped foot on the moon. Postage stamps were just six cents each, and Richard Jamison began a new career with the United States Postal Service.
Wednesday, the USPS honored the Columbus man for his long-time service, after working with the post office for 50 years. Jamison joined the USPS after serving with the US Air Force overseas in Germany. He’s worked as a Processing and Distribution Clerk at the center in northeast Columbus.
Jamison’s family, friends, and coworkers all joined the celebration Wednesday afternoon.
