
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for two suspects wanted for robbing a United States Postal worker over the weekend in south Bakersfield.
On Sunday, June 27, 2021 at approximately 9:16 A.M. BPD responded to the 4300 block of Belle Terrace for a robbery.
Officers spoke with an adult female postal worker who said she was delivering mail when she was approached by two adults who demanded the keys to the postal vehicle.
The two suspects then removed multiple packages and the victim’s purse from it. They loaded the items into the suspect vehicle and drove off.
The two suspects are described as:
- Suspect 1) Hispanic female adult, approximately 27 years of age, 5’6” tall, blonde shoulder length hair, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark blue boxer shorts
- Suspect 2) Hispanic male adult, 30’s, 5’10”-5’11” tall, short black hair, dark skin, possible tattoos on face, wearing an oversized gray t-shirt
And the suspect vehicle described as:
- Gold, older model, 4-door vehicle, no plates
The investigation is ongoing.
