GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Two men have been sentenced to prison for armed robbery of a United States Postal Service truck.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) reported that in August, Sidney Britt, 38, entered pleas of guilty to charges of Hobbs Act robbery and use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
On Jan. 15, Britt was sentenced to 20 years. After serving his sentence, Sidney Britt will began a five-year term of supervised release.
Also, in August, Joshua Britt, 31, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of Hobbs Act robbery.
On Jan. 15, Britt was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months. After serving his sentence, Joshua Britt will begin a three-year term of supervised release.
