Sirius XM DJ and USPS mail carrier arrested for drug trafficking
Police say a Sirius XM DJ and a mail carrier have been arrested on Long Island in a narcotics trafficking case.
Federal officials joined Nassau County law enforcement today to announce the indictments in what they call a major drug trafficking scheme involving cocaine and fentanyl.
Officials announced the arrest of Lance Holmes, also known as DJ Love Dinero, and mail carrier Adrianna Lewis, who is accused of making deliveries of drugs on her postal route in Hempstead.
Officials say the drugs were coming in from as far away as California.
“Lance Holmes and mail carrier Adrianna Lewis allegedly rendezvoused at multiple locations along her postal route to transfer kilograms of narcotics,” Nassau DA Anne Donnelly said. “Holmes is also alleged to have used addresses in Queens, Suffolk and Manhattan to receive drug shipments. His alleged conduct is so brazen that he called a post office in June to inquire about the whereabouts of his package after four kilograms of cocaine allegedly destined for him were seized in this investigation. Dismantling the narcotics trade is difficult and dangerous work, and I thank our numerous partners for helping end the flood of illegal drugs into our county.”
