WASHINGTON—Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) today announced a hearing titled “Tracking the Postal Service: An Update on the Delivering for America Plan.” The hearing will examine the Postal Service’s implementation of the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 and the impact of Postmaster General Louis Dejoy’s Delivering for America Plan.
“Americans deserve an improved and efficient United States Postal Service that ensures the delivery of the vital correspondence our nation depends upon. One year after Congress passed the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act, it is crucial that we receive updates on the implementation of this legislation, as well as the Postal Service’s finances and performance. We will also bring transparency to the progress and impacts of the Postmaster General’s transformative 10-year plan to ensure that the Postal Service continues to serve the American people for generations to come,” said Chairman Sessions.
