
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police is investigating a rollover crash that left one postal employee dead.
It happened on northbound Interstate-295 in Henrico County.
Troopers say a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier truck driven by a 41-year-old North Chesterfield man, was traveling on northbound I-295 in the center lane when he was struck by a Mazda 6, driven by a 30-year-old Midlothian woman.
Police say the woman struck the mail carrier truck from behind, causing the truck the veer of the road and overturn.
The male driver, who police say was not properly restrained, was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
