The U.S. Postal Service has set up Mobile Retail Units, essentially a post office on wheels, at office locations in Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes damaged by Hurricane Ida.

The Mobile Retail Units are located on-site and provide service Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. At these mobile units, customers can conduct postal retail transactions, fill out change-of-address and hold-mail forms as well as pick up their P.O. box mail with proper identification.
