PMG, union leader congratulate letter carriers on the Customer Connect program

In a special video message, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and National Association of Letter Carriers President Frederic Rolando celebrate the Customer Connect program passing $3 billion in annualized revenue.

Letter carriers have “gone the extra mile, grown the business through great service and helped the organization compete for customers,” DeJoy says in the video.

Established in 2003, Customer Connect is a joint program between USPS and the National Association of Letter Carriers that encourages carriers to identify sales opportunities for the organization.

“You are often the only connection many of our customers have with the Postal Service,” Rolando says. “Your advice and recommendations are highly valued.”

We can’t handle what we already have. About the only option left is to stop pushing Amazon revenue to the head of the line so that they will give up and stop sending oversized pieces that cost more to deliver than any revenue received can cover.
