Washington, D.C. (Aug. 3, 2020)—Today, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, announced that the Committee has invited Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to a hearing in September to examine operational changes to the U.S. Postal Service.
“The Committee on Oversight and Reform requests your testimony at a hearing to examine recent changes to U.S. Postal Service operations and standards and the need for on-time mail delivery during the ongoing pandemic and upcoming election, which as you know may be held largely by mail-in ballot,” Chairwoman Maloney wrote in the invitation letter.
