Three United States Postal Service mail carriers were delivered to a holding cell this week after being arrested for swiping and reselling thousands of dollars worth of credit cards on their routes, authorities said Friday.
Starasia Barnes, 29, Quanisha Simmons, 38, and Asif Badrie, 34, were taken into custody Wednesday and are facing federal grand larceny charges, police said.
Between May and November, the trio conspired to steal credit, debit and gift cards they were supposed to deliver, cops said.
Instead, they allegedly sold the cards for hundreds of dollars to Pierot Adolphe and Lexus Bonnette, of Queens, who went on shopping sprees, according to an indictment unsealed Friday.
