Wyandotte, MI – Letter carriers deal with a number of issues when they make their daily rounds delivering mail, but road rage usually isn’t one of them.
Unfortunately, one post office employee in Wyandotte had quite a scare, not from an overprotective dog but from what police are referring to as an emotionally unstable man.
Although the minor incident did not result in any property damage or harm, the hot-headed male driver began chasing down the mail carrier.
“When she pulled into a driveway, he pulled behind her in an effort to block her from leaving,” said Deputy Police Chief Archie Hamilton. “Then, he berated her with insults and profanity. The female mail carrier, fearful for her safety, let the emotionally unstable man know she was calling police.”
