
WILLIAMSPORT – A former postal worker in State College has been criticized for violating her position of trust by stealing from the mail.
U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann on Tuesday told Jessica Stover, 27, of Mill Hall, that stealing cash intended for Penn State students over an eight-month period in 2018 “was just wrong all the way.”
He placed Stover, who had pleaded guilty in March to theft of mail by a postal employee, on one year’s probation, fined her $300 and ordered her to pay restitution of $350.
