On Friday morning, the ad hoc Estes Park Post Office Action Committee held a public meeting with regional and district United States Postal Service (USPS) management regarding issues with delivery, addressing, and returned mail in town.
The main takeaway from the meeting was that the manager of the Estes Park Post Office, who many claim is the main reason behind most of the office’s issues, has been removed while an investigation is done by USPS.
The meeting was put together by Patti Brown, a former co-chair of a presidential caucus who moved to Estes Park from Iowa last fall.
She began experiencing the same issues many residents have had for years so she formed the action committee and after months of hard work, secured a meeting with USPS higher-ups.
