WILLIAMSPORT – A former postal worker in Mifflin County has been admonished a second time by U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann.
The latest was Thursday when he placed Leah G. Snyder, 26 of Lewistown, on two years’ probation during which she must perform 25 hours of community service and pay restitution to the Postal Service of $4,058.
“Don’t do anything like this again,” Brann told her as he left the bench.
He also advised her to tell the Mifflin County Solid Waste Authority, where she is employed as a part-time weighmaster, that she had stolen money from the Postal Service.
She revealed she had not done so when hired and acknowledged she handles a small amount of money as weighmaster.
